Ajmal Gems & Jewels is the brainchild of Mohammed Adil Ajmal. His undying passion, exceptional vision and acumen for business ignited a spark to continue his family trade whilst envisaging a secure and prosperous future for his family. Born into a humble middle-class family in the small city of Tonk, Adil had been fostered in a climate of business and trade where he acquired the nuances of it. Tonk had been the ground where M/S Eid Mohammad Nizamuddin was conceived. He has been a partner with M/S Eid Mohammad Nizamuddin, the family’s first and parent trade firm since 1952. When Adil took the reins of his family business, he was determined to carve a niche for himself, and it could be nothing better than Ajmal Gems & Jewels. What began as a freelance trading in 2019, is now a full-fledged and furnished business venture. This would be his humble contribution to the grandeur of the Nizam business firm.

Mohammed Ajmal, Aadil’s father, had a passionate dream to initiate a business venture which dealt in gems and stones. Ever since he was taken away from the family by COVID-19 in 2021, Aadil resolved to bring to fruition his unmet aspirations and dream, and decided to begin the eponymous brand Ajmal Gems and Jewels in the honour of his name, vision and legacy. The brand is a homage to the sage whose footsteps Aadil now follows. Capturing the essence of the brand, the word Ajmal is his late father’s name which literally translates to ‘most beautiful, perfect and accomplished’. Originally from Tonk, the Nizam family nestled in the culturally rich and diverse embrace of Jaipur city in order to tap its potent and one of the largest markets of emerald in India. Jaipur, with all its quaint and regal glamour, is one of the renowned hubs for precious, semi-precious and coloured stones in India.
